Those are Killer Shoes

I have resolved at thirty as I am now one of those people who has injured a foot badly enough to have issues with it–at least temporarily–that I’m done sacrificing health/comfort for fashion.

Within reason. I mean I still have some AMAZING heels that I hope to get back into soon.

My foot–the one I broke a few months back–has been hurting like mad, and despite my best efforts, it hurts lots worse when I wear cute shoes that, despite their fashion-forward status, aren’t the most comfortable. So, today I had to go to my happy place as per my boss’s orders (it’s been that kind of week already) on my lunch break. My happy place is apparently DSW where I could find some more feet-friendly shoes.

I got some really cute athletic shoes that gasp! have pink on them and some sandals. The sandals are Dr. Scholl’s.

That’s right. I have a pair of old lady shoes. And they’re fabulous, not to mention pretty comfortable too. Here. I took a picture for you. How very hipster of me:

  1. We swear every time we come home with our shoes in our hands that never again will we choose style over comfort only to be lured in by another pair of candy apple red strappy sandals that look ‘Oh so cute’ in the store window and only pinch a bit when your feet get hot.
